Practice Reflection Resources
The Practice Reflection component of the College of Physiotherapist’s of Manitoba’s Continuing Competency Program (CCP) has 2 steps.
Step 1: Develop and maintain your professional portfolio
The portfolio is your collection of evidence of your learning and professional activities from year to year. It is your documentation of learning activities and a description of your learning outcomes. It must include a copy of each of your Practice Reflection Submissions from the prior 5 years.

Step 2: Complete your practice reflection submission
Developing and completing a learning plan based on your own context of practice will demonstrate to yourself and to CPM that you are reflecting on your practice and developing strategies that will benefit the user(s) of your service. You need to identify and describe a learning goal completed over the previous year. You will then need to think about and reflect on your learning and the impact on your service users. Active reflection helps you continue to self-assess and ensure your learning is relevant to your practice. Completion of the Practice Reflection Submission Sheets provided by CPM can be completed at any time but must be finished by renewal (January 31) the following calendar year.
